Shameless was founded and created in 2014 by Breanna Aponte, a former NBA Dancer for the Cleveland Cavaliers. After being compared to unrealistic beauty standards and dealing with the loss of a loved one, she created the Shameless brand to build confidence in women all shapes, size, ages and races in order to love the skin they're in and to help women live life with no shame and go after their wildest dreams. She quickly figured out that life was too short to walk around being ashamed of who you are and allowing life to pass you by because of fear. She wanted to be "Shameless" and inspire others to do the same. ​

Shameless started as a heel 101 and dance class for women ages 18 and up. In 2015 it lead to the opening of the first Shameless Studios in Downtown Cleveland, OH where Breanna offers the community a dance, fitness, photography and special events space that she calls the "House of Shameless". Women come here to exercise, dance, socialize, network and be creative.

By 2016 Breanna was traveling to major cities teaching her workshops and classes and since then has been able to expand her programs and classes to Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, New York, Columbus, Philly, Chicago, Atlanta and Toronto. She holds annual "Shameless Projects" that bring together hundreds of women to spread the Shameless movement and celebrate their diversity, beauty & strength. ​
